God gives us an invitation in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (NIV). This is the season God wants to reveal the secret blocks of our past, as well as its treasures. Each family passes on a legacy to the next generation. God intends it to be one of blessing, but, sadly, most often the blessing is lost. It’s as if it was buried treasure in the bottom of the sea.
Instead, we’ve often passed down the destructive sins and curses to our children and to those who follow them. We’ve done it unknowingly, but God is looking for those who will partner with Him to reclaim their generational legacy, so His blessings can flow and have an impact for a thousand years of blessings!
Now is the season for us to find our hidden or buried blessings, to open up the treasure box and discover the “secret things” that have been unclaimed, sometimes for centuries.
